Inline-Drilling Machine
Are used for parts with several holes in the same level.
If the hole distances remains the same, the machining units will be fixed without flexibility. If the distances varies the units can be adjusted by hand-, pneum-, hydr.- or CNC-drives.

|
Single Station Machine
Are used for parts, which allows the complete machining operations in one clamping station.
If the parts are symmetric to the centre, an index table can turn the part around this axe for using the same machining units several time.

Transfer Machine
Are used for parts, when space restriction do not allow to machine all operations in one station and a transfer to a 2. or 3. Position is required. If volume is very high such parts can be machined in rotary machines as well.

Rotary Machine
Preferably used for parts with many machining operations and high volume. The number of machining units depends on the part. Normally the indexing plate is horizontally build. If parts require machining operations on 3 or more different sides the vertical indexing plate will come in action (Drum Machine).
